DKShivakumar proposes 250m-tall skydeck for B’luru
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar is considering the construction of a 250-meter tall skydeck in Bengaluru, which would be the tallest viewing tower in India. The proposal, designed by Coop Himmelb(l)au, is inspired by the growth of a banyan tree and would provide visitors with a feeling of being immersed in nature. The structure would be energy-efficient, with solar panels generating energy and a rotating wing catcher facing the wind direction. The skydeck would offer multiple entertainment and recreational facilities, including a roller-coaster station, exhibition hall, and panoramic view.
