Palasuni scores with biggest tableau, eco-friendly pandal

The Palasuni Durga Puja Committee in Bhubaneswar is creating the biggest tableau in the city using dry fruit shells collected from tribal-dominated districts. The 22-feet tall tableau, or medha, has been crafted by artisans from Cuttack. The eco-friendly pandal has been decorated with dry fruit shells, and the theme is the Mahalaxmi Temple of Ratlam. The puja also includes a unique tradition, with the garland from the Narayani Pitha of Balugaon being placed on the idol of goddess Durga. The organizers have also focused on the safety and security of devotees.
