Will build mega port, other infra for Silk Route: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced plans for the India-Middle East Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC), which he claims will transform global trade. The corridor will involve several projects, including the development of a mega port, container trans-shipment port, island development, inland waterways, and multi-modal hubs. Modi believes that the corridor will reduce business costs, improve logistics, reduce environmental degradation, and create jobs.
