Elon Musk’s X to float $1 annual subscription model for basic features

Twitter, now called X, has announced a new subscription model called “Not A Bot” where users will pay an annual fee of $1 for basic features. The purpose of this model is to combat bots and spammers. The fee will vary depending on exchange rates in different countries. Initially, the subscription will be available for users in New Zealand and the Philippines.
