Dolls delight with tales of Rama & Namma B’luru

Lavanya Ganesh Reddy’s home in Bengaluru has been transformed into a stunning display of over 1,000 meticulously arranged dolls for the Gombe Habba festival. The display, which has been a tradition in Lavanya’s family for over 150 years, showcases various sets including scenes from the Ramayana, Dasara procession, and Navadurga. Lavanya also included a representation of Bengaluru with dolls depicting her house, Manyata Tech Park, and an autorickshaw stand. She sources dolls from various places including Channapatna, Madurai, and Tamil Nadu.
