Watch: Jisshu U Sengupta & Anirban Bhattacharya’s bromance at ‘Dawshom Awbotaar’ premiere wins over internet

The character Probir Roy Chowdhury from Srijit Mukherji’s 2011 film ‘Baishe Srabon’ returns in ‘Dawshom Awbotaar’. Prosenjit Chatterjee reprises his role as Probir, an introspective detective skilled in solving serial killings. The film, set a decade before ‘Baishe Srabon’, introduces inspector Bijoy Poddar, from Srijit’s earlier film “Vinci Da”, and the enigmatic serial killer, Biswaroop Bardhan, who believes he’s an incarnation of Vishnu. Biswaroop’s killings are inspired by mythological tales, leading Probir and Bijoy on a suspenseful chase.
