World Cup, New Zealand vs Afghanistan: Clinical Kiwis rout sloppy Afghans

New Zealand’s middle order showed resilience as they recovered from a mini-collapse to secure a dominant 149-run victory over Afghanistan. Glenn Phillips and Tom Latham formed a crucial partnership, adding 144 runs, after their team lost three wickets in quick succession. New Zealand’s lower middle-order batters, Mark Chapman and Mitchell Santner, also made valuable contributions to help their team reach a competitive total.
