This druglord drove to Nashik, Indore, Surat; nabbed in B’luru

Lalit Patil, a fugitive drug ring kingpin, has been arrested by the Sakinaka police in Bengaluru. Patil had escaped from a hospital in Pune and was on the run for 15 days. During this time, the police discovered a drug factory in Nashik and seized a large quantity of drugs. The Pune police plan to invoke the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against Patil and his aides. They will also investigate his escape and any potential involvement of police personnel.
