Cash for query row: Mahua calls bizman’s affidavit a joke

Posting a press release on X, formerly known as Twitter, Mahua Moitra replied to the affidavit of businessman Hiranandani and alleged that “he was forced to sign a white paper”. Claiming that the affadavit is ‘neither on official letterhead nor notarised’, she said that the contents of the letter are ‘a joke’. Mocking the affidavit, she added that it has been drafted by “some half-wit in the PMO who doubles up as a creative writer in the BJP’s IT cell.
