From Oct 28, brace for more traffic snarls at rly crossings

The Western Railway has announced its first express train between Veraval and Bandra Terminus, which will run parallel to the busy Ashram Road in Ahmedabad. The train will pass through various parts of the city, potentially causing heavy traffic snarls at railway crossings. The train timings have been planned to minimize impact on vehicular traffic. Additionally, the Western Railway has also announced five pairs of festival special trains, and the new route may witness heavy train movements in the future. Construction of underpasses at some of the busiest railway crossings in Ahmedabad is now deemed unviable.
