ED carries out searches on rice millers in chattisgarh

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches at 10 premises in three districts, including those of a local BJP leader and rice millers, in connection with an alleged scam related to custom milling of paddy. The ED is yet to release a statement on the searches or provide details of the alleged scam. It is alleged that Rs 125 crore worth of rice meant for the poor was sold in the market. The ED is already investigating other scams, including the liquor scam and coal transportation scams.
