Six nominated for Hardayal library’s mgmt committee

The Mayor of Delhi has approved the appointment of six councillors to serve as management committee members of the Hardayal Municipal Public Library. The selection of the councillors was made for the financial year 2023-24, and the committee members will choose a secretary to oversee the library’s operations. The appointment has raised hopes among library employees that long-standing issues, such as unpaid salaries, will be addressed. The library is an autonomous body, with funding approved by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
