World Cup, Australia vs Pakistan: Black T-shirts blacked out to thwart protest bid at Chinnaswamy stadium

Police at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru enforced a last-minute ‘dress code’ for spectators attending the Pakistan-Australia World Cup match. Spectators wearing black T-shirts, jackets, and caps were told to change into clothing of a different color before entering the stadium. The police action was prompted by intelligence about possible pro-Palestine demonstrations.
