Architect held for manhandling BBMP town planning official

A 37-year-old assistant engineer in Bengaluru has filed a complaint against an architect and an RTI activist, accusing them of manhandling and threatening her over a building plan sanction. The architect has been arrested, while the police are investigating the role of the RTI activist. The engineer stated that the duo had been harassing her for money by filing RTI queries related to various buildings. The incident occurred when they visited her office and demanded her signature on a building plan approval.
