India-Europe corridor work begins, rlys plan to link 8 ports

The India Middle East Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC) is a strategic project aimed at transporting goods from Indian ports to Fujairah in the UAE by ship and then by train to Haifa in Israel. The containers will then be moved to Europe, with several countries already joining the alliance. The plan is to make the movement hassle-free and have standardized equipment at all ports and railway yards involved.
