GOP lawmaker attacks Matt Gaetz and allies in a snarky letter

Representative Tom McClintock (R-Calif) fired out a scathing letter on Friday to representative Matt Gaetz (R-Fla) and the other seven members of the conference who voted in favour of the removal of former house speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif), the Huffpost reported. Shared online by multiple congressional reporters, it was written in response to a letter from Gaetz and six of the seven others to their colleagues. Gaetz filed a motion to remove McCarthy earlier this month because the latter refused to give in to his requests regarding spending legislation and other matters.
