Need inclusive legal system to address past wrongs: CJI
Chief Justice of India, D Y Chandrachud, emphasized the importance of a just and inclusive legal system during the unveiling of Dr B R Ambedkar’s bust at Brandeis University. He spoke about the role of legal reform in addressing historical wrongs and creating a more equitable society. Chandrachud also highlighted the need for reformation beyond representation, where marginalized communities have meaningful participation in decision-making processes.
