Vande Bharat a hit with young passengers

Young passengers, particularly those in the age groups of 25-34 and 35-49, prefer to travel on the Jaipur-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express compared to other modes of transportation, according to officials from North Western Railway (NWR). Around 40% of the passengers on this route are young and working-class individuals. The introduction of Vande Bharat on this route has also led to a decline in airfares by 10%-20% in these sectors. The train, which covers a distance of 435 km in six hours, has become popular for tourism, employment, business, education, and medical purposes.
