Chicago, followed by Los Angeles and New York listed as ‘Rattiest cities’ in US

In this year’s list, Chicago maintained its first-place position, followed by Los Angeles in the second spot, while New York dropped to third. The rest of the top 10 “Rattiest Cities” include Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Denver, Detroit, and the Cleveland-Akron metropolitan area in Ohio. The report highlights that approximately 21 million homes in the United States are invaded by mice and other rodents each fall, with their incursions peaking between October and February as they seek food, water, and shelter from the cold.
