IDF strikes back at Syria after rocket attack, conducts airstrike on gunment in Jenin

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) launched airstrikes on several Syrian military targets in response to rockets being fired from Syria towards Israeli communities in the Golan Heights. The IDF stated that fighter jets targeted military infrastructure and mortar launchers belonging to the Syrian Army. The rockets fired from Syria into northern Israel landed in open areas, prompting artillery shelling at the source of the fire. In a separate incident, at least three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Jenin during the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
