Sincere students suffer due to exam malpractices: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court has expressed concern over candidates resorting to malpractices and tampering in competitive examinations, causing sincere students to become victims. The court stated that such situations leave no option but to cancel the exam, as it becomes difficult to determine the extent of malpractices. The observations were made while dismissing a petition by candidates who applied for a post at Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, which cancelled the exam due to tampering. The court ruled that the cancellation was within the university’s authority.
