Hero cop gives snake the kiss of life in Madhya Pradesh

A police constable in Madhya Pradesh is being praised for giving CPR to a snake that had fallen unconscious after being exposed to pesticide-laced water. The constable, Atul Sharma, used mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to revive the snake, which was later released safely. Sharma, a self-taught snake rescuer, had received a call from residents who reported a snake in their home. Although a vet stated that conventional CPR may not work on snakes, Sharma’s actions have been hailed as heroic.
