Amol Muzumdar named head coach of Indian women’s cricket team

Amol Muzumdar has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian women’s cricket team by the BCCI. Muzumdar, a former domestic player and captain, was selected by the Cricket Advisory Committee after a long wait. He takes over from Ramesh Powar, who was removed from the post in December last year. Muzumdar’s first assignment will be the back-to-back Tests against England and Australia in December. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and plans to work closely with the players to excel in the upcoming World Cups.
