Ethics panel to hear Dehadrai, Dubey in Mahua row today

The war of words between TMC MP Mahua Moitra and BJP’s Nishikant Dubey escalated ahead of the first hearing by Parliament’s ethics committee. Dubey questioned Moitra’s propriety, corruption, and criminality, asking if she had accessed NIC mails in Dubai and if she had asked questions in Parliament for money. Moitra responded by accusing Dubey of illegal entry into the airport ATC room. The ethics committee will hold its first meeting on Thursday to hear statements from Dubey and advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai. Moitra dismissed the charges as lies from a “jilted ex”.
