Save the Children halts north Yemen operations after staffer death

Save the Children is suspending its operations in northern Yemen following the death of one of its staff members in detention. Hisham al-Hakimi, the Safety and Security Director, was detained without reason in the rebel-held capital, Sanaa. The charity did not provide details on the cause of death. The suspension will affect programs in health, nutrition, education, child protection, food security, and livelihoods.
