The Islamabad High Court on Friday rejected the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in the cypher case. Khan is currently in prison on judicial remand for allegedly violating the Official Secrets Act. The court also rejected Khan’s request to hold his trial outside the jail. The cypher controversy began when Khan brandished a letter claiming that a foreign nation wanted his government ousted from power. The PTI chief was arrested in August after a case was filed against him.
