Temple treat! Where every dish rings a bell

A culinary event called Sacred Offerings: Poetry in Food is taking place in Delhi, offering a multi-sensory experience of temple prasad. Chef and food historian Rakesh Raghunathan will give a lecture and demonstration on the history and significance of temple food. Raghunathan has studied temple recipes for eight years, resulting in a collection of 400 recipes from south India. The event will feature live cooking, songs, storytelling, and a feast consisting of beverages, salads, starters, mains, curries, and desserts from various temples across the region.
