Key Barapullah project: LG approves land acquisition

The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has approved the acquisition of land for the construction of piers for the Barapullah Elevated Road Project. The project, which was supposed to be completed in 2017, has been delayed by over six years due to issues with land acquisition. The Lieutenant Governor expressed surprise that the project was started without the necessary land parcels and called for responsibility to be fixed on officers and engineers involved in the planning stage. The project aims to provide seamless connectivity between Mayur Vihar-1 and Sarai Kale Khan.
