Irregularities in technology dept: SPPU senate members

During a meeting at Savitribai Phule Pune University, senate members expressed concern about the examination department’s impact on students’ futures and irregularities in MoUs with private agencies. The vice-chancellor has formed fact-finding committees to investigate these matters. One member accused the head of the technology department of running bogus courses, while another questioned the audit report for the financial year 2022-23. The university has signed MoUs with private institutes and companies to offer courses with high fees, but these courses are not listed on the university website.
