Hardayal library gets new management panel, BJP protests

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has formed a new management committee for the Hardayal Municipal Public Library, despite objections from the BJP. The committee comprises 11 members, with six nominated by the mayor and the remaining four to be elected soon. The formation of the committee has raised hopes among library employees that long-standing issues, such as unpaid salaries, will be resolved. The mayor has promised that employees will receive their salaries before Diwali and has also pledged to investigate alleged misuse of funds at the library.
