THIS Moon has salt on its surface!

NASA’s Juno mission has discovered mineral salts and organic compounds on Jupiter’s moon, Ganymede. The spacecraft’s spectrometer collected data during a close flyby, revealing the presence of these substances on the moon’s surface. Previous observations had hinted at their existence, but this was the first time they were confirmed with high-resolution images. Scientists believe these findings suggest the presence of a deep ocean brine and remnants of carbon dioxide-rich ices on Ganymede.
