Girl found hanging, with her doll with noose around neck

A 13-year-old girl was found hanging in her Kolkata residence, with a doll nearby also with a noose around its neck. The police suspect suicide, but are waiting for the post-mortem report to determine the cause of death. The girl was a good student and there is no apparent reason for her extreme decision. The parents had left her at home to prepare for an exam, and when they returned, they found her body. Counsellors have been urging parents to look out for sudden changes in behavior in children.
