Watch: Israeli F-35 jet shoots down cruise missile mid-air

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) successfully intercepted a cruise missile launched by Houthi rebels towards Israel. The IDF shared a video of an F-35I fighter jet intercepting the missile. The IDF has previously used F-35 jets in combat and plans to acquire more. In addition to the missile interception, the IDF also used the Arrow missile defense system to stop a Houthi ballistic missile. The IDF has been intercepting objects, possibly drones, launched from Yemen over the Red Sea and has deployed Navy missile ships for defense in the area.
