Pak ex-min Fawad Chaudhry arrested from Islamabad, says wife

Pakistan’s former minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhry, was arrested from his home in Islamabad on Saturday, Geo News reported. His wife, Hiba Fawad Chaudhary confirmed his arrest in a post on X, formerly Twitter, where she said, “Fawad arrested and taken to unknown place.” “He was arrested by police and men wearing plain clothes,” she also said in a statement to Geo News, and added, “We have not been told why Fawad is being arrested.”
