Microsoft India to hike prices of business software from Feb 1

Microsoft India announces a 6% price hike for its commercial software and online services, affecting Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365. The increase will be effective from February 1. This is the third consecutive year of price increase in India. The change aims to align the Indian rupee prices with the prevailing USD pricing levels in the Asian region. Microsoft has informed its enterprise customers about the price changes through an email notification. Meanwhile, the Indian rupee has weakened against other Asian currencies, and the Reserve Bank of India’s policy decision is awaited.
