Ram Lalla idol consecration rituals to commence on Jan 16

Before PM Modi performs the rituals for the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya, the team of Vedic scholars led by Acharya Laxmikant Mathuranath Dixit will perform basic rituals starting on January 16. The main rituals of consecration will begin on January 18, including Pradhan Sankalp and Ganeshambika Pujan. On January 19, pre-consecration rituals such as Devta Pujan and Jaladhivas will be performed. On January 20, Vastupujan of the temple will take place. On January 21, the idol will be bathed with water from pilgrimage sites, followed by Mahapuja and Nagarbhraman. The consecration rituals will be held on January 22.
