TMC workers out on streets, promise to reelect Mahua

Trinamool workers hit the streets in protests to support former MP Mahua Moitra. The workers in Nadia pledged to return Moitra back to the Parliament with a majority of 1.5 lakh votes. Leading the protests, TMC MLA Tapas Saha said, ‘Our battle will continue till the day we send back Mahua Moitra to the Parliament by a winning margin of 1.5 lakh votes.’ Two-time Karimpur MLA Bimalendu Sinha Roy also led the protests in Karimpur, showing their support for Moitra.
