‘My first task …’ : CM-designate Sai lists his govt’s priorities

Senior tribal leader Vishnu Deo Sai, who won the assembly election from the Kunkuri (ST) seat in North Chhattisgarh, will be the new chief minister of Chhattisgarh. Sai, a 59-year-old tribal leader, previously served as the state BJP president and Union minister of state for steel. He is expected to call on state governor Biswa Bhushan Harichandan to stake his claim to form the government. The BJP may appoint a deputy chief minister from among the OBCs, who have overwhelmingly supported the party in the state’s central region
