Gutka ads: HC notice to SRK, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar

The Allahabad court has served legal notices to Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Akshay Kumar for their association with a tobacco brand. The Central Consumer Protection Authority issued notices to the actors, who have been targeted for their involvement in tobacco advertisements. The court has fixed a hearing for May 9, 2024. Another petition expressed concerns about the endorsement of health-risk products by celebrities, particularly those honored with ‘Padma Awards.’
