Stefanik vows MIT, Havard heads next after Penn prez quits
University of Pennsylvania president Liz Magill resigned after facing backlash for her response to antisemitism on college campuses. Magill, along with Harvard President Claudine Gay and Massachusetts Institute of Technology President Sally Kornbluth, participated in a hearing regarding anti-Jewish sentiments. The heads of top US universities failed to condemn calls for the “genocide of Jews.” Magill’s response to a question about calling for the genocide of Jews was criticized. Magill’s resignation has sparked further criticism from lawmakers and officials.
