22-week-old female foetus found in hosp dustbin, doc on the run

A female foetus was found in a dustbin at SPG hospital in Hoskote, Bengaluru Rural during a surprise raid by health officials. Dr Srinivas, the suspect, is the managing director of the hospital. Four people, including two women nurses, a lab technician, and a lab assistant, have been detained for questioning. An ultrasound scanning machine, suspected to be operational for over two years, was seized. The hospital had been under scrutiny due to an illegal ultrasound scanning machine and the foetus found indicates illegal sex determination and female foeticide.
