Indian Navy takes swift action in Arabian Sea hijacking crisis

Indian Navy has swiftly responded to the hijacking of Malta-flagged vessel MV Ruen in the Arabian Sea. The naval warship intercepted the hijacked vessel. Meanwhile, a Spanish navy ship is racing towards the suspected hijacked commercial vessel off the coast of Somalia. The European Union’s Somali counter-piracy force had received an alert about the alleged pirate-hijacked vessel Ruen. Reports suggest that pirates may have seized a vessel in Somalia’s Puntland region.
