Who is 2-time MLA Jitu Patwari, the new Congress MP chief

Congress replaces Kamal Nath with Jitu Patwari as party’s Madhya Pradesh chief after poll defeat. Patwari lost to a BJP candidate from the Rau assembly seat. His selection is seen as the party’s attempt to make a fresh start in the state ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha elections. Patwari was the cabinet minister for higher education, sports, and youth affairs in Madhya Pradesh. He began his political career in 2013 as an MLA from Rau Vidhan Sabha and was the president of the Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress.
