Parliament security breach: Over 90 opposition MPs suspended so far over ruckus in both Houses

33 members from Lok Sabha and 45 from Rajya Sabha were suspended for disrupting parliamentary proceedings in one of the largest mass suspensions till date. A total of 80 MPs were suspended, with 64 suspended for the remainder of the winter session. The remaining MPs were suspended pending a report of the Privileges Committee. The suspended members include leader of Congress Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, T R Baalu, Sougata Ray, Jairam Ramesh, Randeep Surjewala, KC Venugopal, and BJP MP Prathap Simha.
