‘Let’s win first’: Kharge on being projected as INDIA’s PM face

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee proposed Mallikarjun Kharge as the PM face for the INDIA bloc in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The suggestion, supported by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, was made during a meeting of the bloc in New Delhi. Mallikarjun Kharge responded by stating that winning should be the priority before deciding on the PM face. The meeting also discussed seat sharing and the selection of a convenor. No final decisions were made, but the leaders agreed that the PM’s face would be decided after winning the elections.
