Landlord rapes, kills 9-year-old girl, dumps body in canal

A nine-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and murdered by her 52-year-old landlord, Sanjeev Rana, who later disposed of her body in Munak canal. Police have arrested Rana and are making efforts to recover the body. The girl’s parents, who are laborers, filed a missing complaint after their daughter went missing. Rana lured the girl into his car, drove around in several areas of outer Delhi, and assaulted her before disposing of her body. Rana confessed to the crime after recovering from an accident.
