Doctor gets stolen suitcase back, but ‘insured’ blazer missing

A Bengaluru-based oncologist had his car broken into, and a suitcase containing a blazer and a shaving kit was stolen. The suitcase was later found on a bus in Chennai, but the blazer and shaving kit were missing. The complainant had confirmed that the blazer was insured, and the FIR registered would be enough to raise a claim. The oncologist, however, did not confirm whether the blazer was under insurance. The hospital management also declined to comment on whether the blazer was hospital property and if it was covered under insurance.
