Man falls for nude woman on WhatsApp, extorted of Rs 6L

A diamond worker in Surat was extorted of around Rs 6 lakh after accepting a friendship request from Puja Sharma on Facebook. They exchanged phone numbers and had a video call where Sharma lured him into getting naked. She disconnected the call after he complied. Later, he received a video from Sharma and got a call from a person posing as ‘DSP’ Sunil Dubey, who asked for money to delete the video. The victim transferred Rs 5.65 lakh to a fake YouTube official, but eventually reported the incident to the cyber helpline.
