EU has new ruling for three of the biggest porn websites

Pornhub, XVideos, and Stripchat, the three largest porn websites, now face age verification requirements in the European Union. The EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) imposes stricter controls on these platforms, which have 45 million average monthly users. France, Germany, and Britain, along with US states like Utah and Texas, have drafted laws requiring age verification on porn sites. Methods such as checking credit cards, government-issued IDs, or scanning faces could be used. The DSA also aims to curb the spread of illegal content, including child sexual abuse material and non-consensual images.
