Premium processing fee for H-1B applications raised: Deets
USCIS has announced a final rule to increase premium processing fees for certain visa categories, including H-1B applications. The new fees will go into effect on February 26, 2024. Employers sponsoring H-1B applicants should consider these fees when planning their immigration budget. The premium processing fee for Form I-129 will increase by 12% to $2,805, while the fee for Form I-539 will increase to $1,965 and Form I-765 will increase to $1,685. Premium processing allows for faster adjudication of visa applications within specified timelines.
